What wedding packages do you offer?
At this time we offer three different packages starting at £995 for your basic package. The packages we offer can be customised to fit your needs perfectly. Each package includes a USB of all high resolution images throughout the day. Standard and Premium packages include a credit voucher to spend a certain amount on prints of your choice, this is alongside a USB. What is a credit voucher?
These are for Standard and Premium packages only. This is a voucher you will receive alongside a prints price list in your goodie bag, we will then ask you to pick photos of your choice that you wish to print from your USB (any remaining balances cannot be exchanged for cash). Further prints are available at an additional cost.
How do I print my pictures?
You are welcome to print your pictures as you please, just take your USB drive to any printing company, however we are not responsible for any issues with picture printing quality. We therefore highly recommend purchasing prints directly through Kirstie Shippam Photography to guarantee the highest level of quality.
What if I lose my picture files?
We keep double redundant back ups of your photos for 3 months after your wedding date. It is your responsibility to keep a back up of your delivered files, but we do our best to have your back. There is a fee for re-delivery to help cover the cost of our backup solutions.
How do you edit the photos?
We use Adobe Photoshop CS6 and Adobe Lightroom 5 to edit your wedding day pictures to achieve the highest quality photos.
What equipment do you use when shooting?
The main camera body we use is a Nikon D750 with a Nikon 24-70mm lens which we highly recommend for wedding photography. We also use prime lenses depending on the type of shot we are capturing. We use external flashes for low light situations, such as churches and receptions and of course have back ups of just about everything (batteries, memory cards, lenses and even an extra camera just in case).
Do you travel for weddings?
Of course! Email us for details but we are willing to go wherever your wedding takes you! If you are within a 25 miles radius of BN14 then there is no travel fee. Anything further can be personally discussed to create a custom fee for wherever it is that you would like those astonishing photos taken.
How long will it take to receive my photos after my wedding?
Usually processing takes 2-3 weeks for a wedding but you will be able to preview some teasers on my Facebook and Instagram pages within a couple of days.
What if I don’t want my photos online?
No problem! Just let me know before hand and I will do my best to keep your photos off of the internet.
How do I book in with you?
Send us an email to email@example.com with the following details included; Your name, contact details, date and location of wedding, package type you are interested in and any additional information about your day. If you are unsure of your plans not to worry, these can be discussed further at the wedding consultation which usuallly takes place around 6 months prior to your wedding, this will also be when the wedding agreements need to be signed by yourself.
How do I pay?
For wedding bookings a £200 deposit is required to secure your date, this will be stated on your invoice. The remaining balance is due 2 months prior to your wedding.
